TW cards are based on the newer techwell chipset.

The drivers are universal for all cards and can be downloaded below.

Installation:

  • To install drivers, please plug in the card into an PCI/PCIe slot in your computer, turn it on, wait for the "new device" dialogue to pop up.
  • Unzip the needed drivers (video and audio) to any folder on your computer.
  • When prompted use "advanced -- choose drivers location" and select folder where yup unpacked video or audio drivers, depending on which device you are installing (audio device will be recognized as audio, video as multimedia).
  • Click continue, wait for the driver to finish copying, and click "finish".
  • Repeat for all audio/video devices.

UPDATE: The manufacturer provided a newer version of the driver, which is properly signed to work with Windows 7, which by default requires the signature. If you need the signed drivers please download the "TW-drivers-SIGNED" archive.

Drivers on this download are dated 4/14/2011 while drivers shipped with the TW-220-8 card are dated 5/3/201.  File Size on the later is larger as well.  Seems like those posted here may not actually be the "latest"?

Carl,

There were several versions of the drivers that were provided to us by the manufacturer. These ones are the newest drivers that were verified to be directshow compatible, unlike the drivers shipped on the CD.

I am not sure about the exact dating of the driver builds, but these are the latest drivers confirmed to work.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Alex

I download the driver in the link given in the 1st post. However, Win7 64-bit says that the driver is unsigned and the driver did not install.

Where can I download signed drivers for TW-220?
