Hello,
I have noticed all along that when I am using the client and searching by dates, when I put in a date I do not get any results. I have two screen examples of the events and time line view. Also a screen that sows for the previous day I do have events and recordings. I will put in a date and give it 5 to 10 minutes to pull things up and as you see after 5 / 10 minutes there are no events listed. Granted I can go look at the actual file location and select a camera and time and view the recordings that way. In the past, my data base would get over 150,000 records / events in a short time (snow flakes or the rain or maybe the wind chimes flapping in the wind) and not sure if that is maybe still the case. Any thoughts? Using the 64bit client on Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit Linux.

I was reading some other posts and found one with similar question.
mysql --user=bluecherry -p --database=bluecherry --execute="Select count(*) FROM EventsCam"
Gave me 191,555 events. I see you limit things to 15,000.
I currently have 8 gig ram with a duo quad Core CPU in the system. If one wanted to edit a file and increase the value, what file and line would3need to be changed? I can browse with gnome-commander and find my files to view that way if I want. I rarely ever have anything happen or that looks questionable around the house / yard so I really don't pay attention to the system. It is only when I want to go back and look at something. 15 cameras, running 24x7, set to motion.
