Error writing register

First apologies in case this isn't the correct place to post this question, I'm not sure which of the bluecherry sites really is suitable for tech questions on the new linux driver, I'm happy to log the request elsewhere if this isn't the right place.

We have bought a BC-04120A (4-port MPEG4/MJPEG hardware encoding card) and I am now trying to set it up with 4 PAL cameras. I'm built  the new solo6010 driver but when I load it into the kernel I get this in the log:

or some variation on those register write errors. No video is visible on any of the ports. Any thoughts ?.
