Version .97 release

Today we released a free upgrade for current Bluecherry DVR customers.  It is recommended that you upgrade to this release as it fixes a security hole which allows anyone to view live video without authenticating.  Instructions for upgrading to new Bluecherry software releases is below:

Note:  We removed the power button icon in this release.  In previous versions it was broken and we've had enough feedback from customers that we felt removing the icon was the best option.

Version 2 information

We recently published a small list of changes going into version 2 on our blog.  You can see the complete list here: Version 2 sneak peak.  We hope to start the public beta of version 2 the end of September, with a release four to six weeks after that.  The version 2 beta should be stable and during the beta testing release we will be focusing on UI improvements and some last minute features.

If you are interested in the version 2 beta you can signup online here:  http://www.bluecherrydvr.com/bluecherry-version-2-beta-signup-form/
