The following motherboards are known not to work with the PV-* series video capture cards. These included but not necessary limited to the PV-149, PV-183 series and PV-981 series:

MSI K9N SLI Platinum v1.1 AND MSI K9N SLI Platinum v1.2 motherboard with nVidia nForce 570 SLI MCP 55 chipset
ASUS SK8V (http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=16&l3=69&mode...)
