In case you’ve lost or forgot Bluecherry server Admin password, you can change it to default in database.
Procedure is following:
- log into the Bluecherry server system as a root
- cat /etc/bluecherry.conf
- use credentials listed in this file to open mysql database of bluecherry and issue password reset query:
mysql -u bluecherry -p bluecherry -e “update Users set password=‘b22dec1d6cfa580962f3a3796a5dc6b3’, salt=‘1234’ where username=‘Admin’;”
change database username, database name as needed
- Admin’s password will be reset to default “bluecherry”
