If your Bluecherry server has no internet access or behind a restricted NAT and you can not open a connection to keycheck.bluecherrydvr.com you will have to manually authenticate your license key. This requires an extra step, thus it is suggested that you connect the server to the internet if at all possible.

Attempt to activate the license key as you normally would. If you see the message below you will need to email the unique id provided by our software to support@bluecherrydvr.com.

Once we receive your email we will reply with your eight digit authorization code, simply add that to the box and click ‘Confirm’. You should see a message indicating the license was activated.
